Folding Sluice

Ed note: Gerald sent me some information about using ABS plastic for mining projects to be added to the hints page. After exchanging a couple e-mails, we have a project for a great looking lightweight folding sluice box.

Here's the hint:
Watch Ebay for ABS Plastic....Every now and then companies sell out their "scrap" lots of plastic and you can pick up some nice pieces for cheap. Once you get the plastic, buy an acrylic cutter, some aluminum angle pieces and get creative. You can try some of your design ideas in one night. I also picked up some ABS adhesive ($6.00 a pint and that's plenty) that welds it together if you want a bolt free project.

Here's the picture instructions on how to make the sluice box using the ABS adhesive. It came out great...if I do say so myself. The pic has the cut list, materials and everything else narrated on it.
